Is it safe to use a Vitamin E cream as a base for massage with Lavendar & Rosemary essential oils?

For use on a healthy woman, in her early 20s with no known allergies or medical problems. Taking no other medication. Massage aimed at relieving tired muscles. note – this is not a question from a qualified aromatherapist/masseur, and information received will only be used to help with a casual massage, e.g. carried out by a friend on another friend.

Vitamin E cream shoud be fine. Check the cream to make sure it doesn’t smell rancid (a sharp bitter smell).

It’s nice to use a natural oil, like jojoba or grapeseed as a base for essential oils, but if the vitamin e cream is all you have, that is acceptable. Good luck!
